For nearly three decades, independent indie-folk duo The Noëls (Jonathan and Amanda Noël) have crafted music rooted in Christian faith and the raw, collective realities of everyday life. From a formative decade in Nashville to their current base in North Carolina, their journey spans intimate chapels to major concert stages, with songwriting credits on Grammy and Dove Award-winning albums. They have collaborated with respected artists like Fernando Ortega, Andrew Peterson, and Jars of Clay, bridging melodic indie-pop with organic alternative-folk and Americana, shaped by a lifelong love for hymnody and the Church.

Their latest full-length album, Stayed, is a chronological 11-song journey from human endurance into profound peace, inspired by Isaiah 26:3. Produced alongside Stephen Leiweke, the record transitions from driving alternative rock to quiet devotional suites. Built around their core instrumentation, it features an elite supporting cast—including Sean Watkins, Ron Block, and performances by their two adult children—resulting in a deeply relatable, multigenerational project.
